Michael Holt: Week 5 Recap

This week marked the end of rating trees! We ended up rating over 2,000 trees for disease severity and now it’s time to start collecting samples. My summer class also starts next week and I’m hoping that it will aid me when it’s time to conduct statistical analyses of data for our project. The cicadas were out by the thousands and sometimes there were so many on a tree that you could hardly see the bark! Working outside in the heat with all of the bugs and humidity was challenging, but I’m still enjoying myself!

We all went to King’s Island to wrap up week 5 and I had a great time. I’m looking forward to more adventures and what the rest of the program has in store!
