Thank you for your interest in the summer high school component of the Research and Extension Experiential Learning for Undergraduates (REEU) – Diversity in Faces, Spaces and Places of Natural Resources Sciences program at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana.
High school student volunteers will have the opportunity to experience life as a college student while gaining hands-on experiences assisting college students that are participating in an 8-week, field based, natural resource science internship program.
In June, students interested in research will gain practical research experiences such as
collecting data in an outdoor setting. In July, students interested in environmental education will learn the value of outreach and learn how to educate the public about natural resources.
Not sure which one to attend? We recommend both!
