Michael Holt: Week 4 Recap

We’re halfway through the program already and I didn’t think it would go by so fast! On Memorial Day we all went to Columbian Park and the zoo! Megan grilled for us and it was a really fun time! Jonathan and I are making progress with the help of our mentors. We rated and flagged over 1300 trees this week which was a lot of work but we listened to music and made the most of it! Next week we’re going to start collecting soil and leaf samples and rating another plot. We planned out our weekend activities for the rest of the internship and I’m super excited to go to King’s Island! I’m sure the second half of the program will be just as great as the first and I’m looking forward to my next blog post!
