Grace Follmar: Week 3 Recap

This week was a busy and challenging week because we began practice sampling and identifying zooplankton for our project, which was very tedious. I learned new microscope and sampling techniques, and I’m excited to get started on our data collection next week. The trip to Turkey Run this weekend was also a lot of fun. The weather was really nice and it felt good to be outdoors and walk in water, even though it was a bit chilly! It was also fun to spend time with some of the other interns and Megan since we were all focused on our own projects this week and didn’t interact as much.
