Coby Frame: Week 4 Recap

This week I learned the ins and outs of grad school. Throughout the week, several professors and grad students visited and gave presentations about research and grad school. Some speakers discussed their current research projects and I thought it was cool how different all of their research projects were. Some speakers also talked about the process of applying to and getting funding for grad school and that seemed a little overwhelming. However, it was very informative and it's helped me think through what steps I should take next. The best part of this week though was that I got to see a fawn while working out in the field. It was right next to one of our cover board plots and it was so cute! I’m looking forward to going back out in the field and hopefully finding something as cute as the fawn we saw this week!
