Coby Frame: Week 3 Recap

One thing I learned this week was how to use Avenza Maps, a mapping app that allows you to punch in GPS coordinates. We used the app to find the locations we needed to set-up our cover board plots. It was a little difficult at first, but after completing a few locations I started to get the hang of it. We were able to set out all of our cover boards and can finally start collecting data next week. I’m super excited to flip the cover boards and determine what kinds of species we find! The most difficult part of this week was carrying the cover boards through the rough terrain of Martell Forest. It was definitely a good workout! Now the hardest part is over and the fun parts will start next week!
