Angie Ayala: Week 5 Recap

This week we learned how to write a resume for natural resources related positions and it was very enlightening. Just about everything I’ve ever learned about resume writing was the exact opposite for natural resources resumes! The highlight of my week was deploying the dissolved oxygen sensors in our selected bodies of water. Our mentor brought along some of his students as well and it was fun showing them what we’ve been up to. One of the most challenging parts of this week though was going through all of the pictures on our cameras. While it’s tedious work, I’d rather have lots of photos to look through than none at all due to technical difficulties. I’m looking forward to analyzing our data from the dissolved oxygen sensors next week!
