Angie Ayala: Week 4 Recap
This week I learned how to apply to grad school and that, sometimes, attending grad school isn’t always necessary. This week I was disappointed about the quality of my cameras’ pictures, especially because I waited weeks to see them. As disheartening as it was, it was a perfect opportunity for a lesson in research. Things don’t always work out the first time. I can learn from my mistakes and place the cameras in better locations with improved techniques. That being said, I’m excited to see the difference in photo quality after adjusting the camera placement. Deploying the cameras in the field was the most enjoyable part of my day this week. Figuring out the best way to attach the cameras to the trees, crawling across the floor, and dodging branches to get into the right position makes me excited to see how the pictures will turn out!
