Alexis Proudman: Week 3 Recap

THEY'RE HEEEERE!

The cicadas finally came this week and they are amazing. Honestly, they are the coolest thing I’ve seen in a very long time. Hundreds of husks and cicadas on trees and vegetation is both cool and gross. Now that they’re here, Jackson and I plan on making some yummy fried cicadas to eat. Sadly, nobody else wanted to eat them with us.

Other than that, we went to Turkey Run on Saturday, and I went mudding, but not on purpose. I feel like if anyone else had fallen two feet from a rock and landed face first in a pile of mud, they would’ve been disgusted, but it made my day. Definitely one of the better experiences I’ve had. I always love those unexpected moments in life.
