This week was intense, but a lot of fun. The hardest part was deciding our question. We had so many different ideas, but I think Maggie and I decided on something that we are both really curious about. The thing I struggled with the most this week was writing the proposal. I have never written a proposal before and it took me awhile to figure out how to write it. My favorite thing about this week was working with Maggie, Nigel, and Dr. Bernal and planning our project. It finally seems real! I get to investigate my own question! I was also proud that I was able to problem solve making our map in ArcGIS. I am not very confident in my ArcGIS skills; however, I was able to make the map! It was a win. Next week I am looking forward to getting out in the field. I am also very excited to start our secondary project with the fireflies. I have not handled a lot of anurans, and I'm really excited to work with them!
