Hi! My name is Alyssa Cepeda. I am originally from a tiny island in the Pacific called Saipan. I am currently going into my sophomore year at Boise State University. I am majoring in Environmental Studies with an emphasis on Sustainability and Climate Studies. I chose this major because I have always had a strong curiosity for the environment and all that inhabits it. This summer, I will be conducting my research on birds. I am excited to be in this REEU Internship as I look forward to strengthening my research skills, connecting with others, and being in touch with nature this summer.
